Is Intermittent fasting well for health?

Intermittent fasting is commonly said as diet routine. Intermittent fasting includes many fasting procedures but the most commonly used is 16hours fasting and 24 hours fasting.

16 Hours fasting

The 16hours fasting techniques mean eating healthy food in 8 hours.

For example: if a person last meal is taken at night 8 PM then the person should not consume food until next day 1PM. In this method a cycle of 16 hours fasting is maintained.

The person who decides to intermittent fast for 16 hours then the best way of implementing it is to skip breakfast.

But the question is most of the nutritionist says “An individual should skip they breakfast at any cost because the body does not get any nutritional food in their sleeping hours”

Here is the answer for that question – Even though a person skips breakfast, it is fine as long as the person eats healthy food in their rest of the meals. Nutritionist says not to skip breakfast in a thought that the body might loss some proteins. But the person consumes protein in their rest of the diet; it is fine to skip breakfast.

24 Hours fasting

The 24 hours fasting cycle states to fast for a whole day i.e..; a person should fast a two whole day in a week. But the 24 hours fasting should not be two consecutive days.

In 7 days of week of 5 days should be the eating days and two days should be fasting days.

For example: if the last meal is lunch then the person should fast from dinner to next day dinner.

But the question is: Is it okay to take liquids in 24 hours technique.

The answer is: yes, it is okay to take liquids like water, juice in 24 hours fasting technique but avoid sugar substance.

Do not exercise or take supplements in 24 hours fasting technique.

In many religious 24 hours fasting technique is consider as good to body to clear the impurities.

Note: Intermittent fasting is not suggested to patients with extreme unhealthy condition or to patients who take medication.

Conclusion

Intermittent fasting is considered as an unhealthy way of losing weight. During intermittent fasting please do lift weight cause the body losses it muscle weight in fasting techniques. Exercise adds an advantage to lose weight faster and easier but do not exercise if you follow 24 hours fasting techniques. It is suggested to workout in their 5 days of meal plan and not to work-out in the 2 days of fasting plan.
